Switchback Coffee Roasters was looking to recapitalize its operations to allow it to expand and grow into other markets but it had significant capital tied up in its real estate holdings. Harvest MXD was able to partner with Switchback via a sale-leaseback in the middle of the 2020 pandemic to successfully allow it to open a new location and move its roastery operation to more efficient space.  Additionally, the partnership provided the means for Switchback to renovate its legacy location at 330 Institute with expanded seating and new capital improvements into the building which led to a significant increase in sales.

One year later the partnership sold the building for a successful outcome for all.
