Robert F. "Sky" Miller III has been a licensed real estate professional since 2005, specializing in acquisitions, development, adaptive re-use, and landlord/owner representation.
Prior to joining Harvest MXD, Sky was a Landman acquiring over 350,000 acres of mineral/surface rights in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Colorado. He worked on all aspects of projects including acquisitions, permitting, drilling, completions, and production. He has extensive public research knowledge and cross-functional planning experience with private ownership to local municipalities and federal/state entities like the Texas Railroad Commission, Texas GLO, FEMA, Bureau of Land Management, and US Army Corps of Engineers. He served as the land administrator/field manager on a 12,000-acre, 17-well oil field redevelopment program and managed working interest on a 220,000-acre West Texas ranch operated by Exxon/XTO. Sky facilitated the land sale where Uber Technologies’ second corporate headquarters was to be in downtown Dallas along with a portfolio of properties in Dallas’ Deep Ellum District, including the location for Bottled Blonde, one of the most successful area bars.
Sky is dually licensed in both Texas and Colorado. He earned his BA from the University of Texas – Austin, where he studied Geography with a focus on Resource Management and Geographical Information Systems.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sky enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring the outdoors through hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding. Married to his college sweetheart, Sky is the proud father of two boys and earned the nickname "Sky" from his mother who says, "Sky's the limit."
